President Dodik presented with the Charter of Honorary Citizen of the Municipality of Prnjavor with a Golden Coat of Arms

The President of the Republic of Srpska Milorad Dodik was today presented with the Charter of Honorary Citizen of the Municipality of Prnjavor with the Golden Coat of Arms of the Municipality for his special contribution to the development of this local community – the highest award given on the occasion of March 24, the Day of this Municipality.

Mayor of Prnjavor Municipality Darko Tomaš and the President of the Municipal Assembly Željko Simić presented the Charter to the President Dodik.

The President of the Republic expressed his desire for the fastest possible development of Prnjavor in order it to be an example of a city with a perspective where there are jobs, youth and schools.

The President of Srpska wished success to all citizens of this youngest city in the Republic of Srpska, since the National Assembly adopted the Law on the City of Prnjavor today.

„I am proud of the cooperation with the people of Prnjavor, Mayor Darko Tomaš and his team on all the issues we worked on together, such as communal infrastructure, even strategic ones. We understood very well and knew that the construction of the highway changes the character of life here and this is already visibly happening and gives serious developments and opens other chances“, said the President Dodik.

The President of Srpska noted that today the road communication between Prnjavor and Banja Luka is no longer than 20 minutes, which means that the highway brings us closer and gives greater chances for development.
