President Dodik guided members of the Republic Administration of Civil Protection to Turkey

Today, the President of the Republic of Srpska Milorad Dodik guided members of the Republic Administration of Civil Protection of the Republic of Srpska from Mahovljani Airport, where they left for Turkey.

The President of the Republic stated that the rescuers from the Republic of Srpska, who traveled to help the people who suffered in the devastating earthquake in Turkey, will show that they are trained to help anywhere in the world.

The President Dodik pointed out that it is important for Srpska that its Civil Protection is in Turkey and helps the people there with their equipment and features.

The President of Srpska stated that the institutions of the Republic of Srpska organised themselves tonight and that it is important that they are part of the international forces.

“We will show that we are trained and capable of helping in difficult times anywhere in the world”, said the President of the Republic.

The President of Srpska expressed his satisfaction that the team includes members of the entire Republic of Srpska who have the necessary certificates for rescue.

“We will be in Turkey as long as necessary, which will be assessed with the authorities of this country”, it was added by the President Dodik. 

The President of the Republic reminded that rescuers from Turkey were in the Republic of Srpska during the great floods in 2014 and helped the people.

According to the President Dodik, the Government of Turkey, as well as the first man of this country, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, significantly helped Srpska at that time, which will never be forgotten. 

“The departure of our rescuers is just a small sign of attention and solidarity with the Turkish people”, said the President of the Republic.

The President of the Republic of Srpska added that this is an opportunity to once again express his condolences to the families of the victims and to the President Erdogan. “Yesterday, we were in contact with his Cabinet and agreed that the Republic of Srpska should include international support for repairing damages and rescuing people”, it was pointed out by the President of Srpska.
