President Dodik attends the inauguration ceremony of the President of Turkey

The President of the Republic of Srpska Milorad Dodik attends the inauguration ceremony of the President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdoğan today in Ankara, together with the Serb member and Chairwoman of the BiH Presidency Željka Cvijanović.

On that occasion, the President of the Republic thanked the President of Turkey for the invitation to the inauguration, congratulated him on his great election victory and emphasized that the Serbian side is satisfied with his approach to the agreement in BiH without imposing a solution from the outside.

“Erdoğan‘s constant indication that an agreement must be reached within Bosnia and Herzegovina, without expecting any solutions from the outside, is something that gives us a framework for these possible talks”, said the President Dodik.

The President of Srpska indicated that while he was in office in the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, he had contacts with the President Erdoğan, who is a thoughtful president.

“We absolutely agree with his approach regarding the respect of all partners in Bosnia and Herzegovina”, said the President of the Republic.

The President of the Republic of Srpska also met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkey Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu, as well as with the Prime Minister of Hungary Viktor Orbán.
