President Cvijanović Receives Trainees of Eighth Class of Higher Security and Defence Studies

The President of the Republic of Srpska Željka Cvijanović met today in Banja Luka with the trainees of the Eighth Class of Higher Security and Defence Studies (VSBO), who are currently on a study trip in the Republic of Srpska.

At the occasion, President Cvijanović informed interlocutors of the current political and security situation in the Republic of Srpska and BiH, and the common security challenges faced by all countries in the region.

President Cvijanović stressed at the meeting that Srpska is strongly committed to preserving peace and stability, within the framework of the Dayton Peace Agreement and the position and competences of the Republic of Srpska. as guaranteed by the Constitution.

Higher Security and Defence Studies is an organisational unit within the School of National Defence that, once a year, organises the highest-level training course for officers and civil servants of the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Serbia.
