The President of the Republic emphasized that at the meeting with the leadership of this municipality she had the opportunity to hear what the real problems facing this local community are, but also to discuss how to overcome problems with the joint cooperation through the local and national level.
The President Cvijanović reminded that cooperation with the leadership of the municipality of Lopare has existed before and reminded that they solved numerous problems of citizens after the 2014 floods through landslide remediation, and joint construction of 100 houses through the arrangement of the UNDP, local community and the Government.
The President of Srpska pointed out that those were difficult, challenging times, in which the authorities at both levels showed that when they gather and when they mobilise powers, they can do good things for the citizens.
“I am certain, and today the Mayor and his associates confirmed it to me, that many of those people who were left homeless at the time, would leave this local community. However, we intervened quickly and in that way we solved the problem”, it was emphasized by the President Cvijanović.
The President of the Republic expressed satisfaction with what those houses look like today, noting that this is an example of a well-implemented project.

“We want to participate and enable our athletes to have better conditions and to be able to achieve sports goals”, noted the President of the Republic.
The President Cvijanović added that the common message of today’s meeting is that the authorities understand the problems, and that they want to work together.
“We want to develop each of our local communities, because it implies the development of the Republic of Srpska, and I am sure that when we work together, no matter where we are on the political spectrum, we are essentially fulfilling what our mission is and what our citizens expect from us”, it was emphasized by the President of Srpska.
