Newly elected President of the Republic of Srpska solemnly takes office

The newly elected President of the Republic of Srpska Milorad Dodik took over the duties of the former President of the Republic of Srpska Željka Cvijanović in a ceremony in Banja Luka today.

The handover took place after the newly elected President of the Republic of Srpska Milorad Dodik and the newly elected Serb member of the BiH Presidency Željka Cvijanović had previously taken a solemn oath at the constitutive session of the 11th convocation of the National Assembly of the Republic of Srpska.

The President of the Republic of Srpska Milorad Dodik, newly elected Serb member of the BiH Presidency Željka Cvijanović, President of the National Assembly of the Republic of Srpska Nenad Stevandić took the religious part of the oath in the Church of Christ the Saviour in Banja Luka. The religious part of the oath was taken by the majority of the members of the National Assembly.
