The President of the Republic of Srpska Milorad Dodik met today in Banja Luka with the UN Resident Coordinator in Bosnia and Herzegovina Ingrid Macdonald.
The President of the Republic of Srpska informed the UN Resident Coordinator of the Republic of Srpska is politically and security stable, and that by forming the government and adopting strategic documents, immediately after the elections, it manifested political stability and confirmed its full democratic capacity.
During the meeting, the President Dodik emphasized that the institutions of the Republic of Srpska are fully committed to the implementation of economic and social reforms that contribute to the improvement of the economic environment, with full respect for the Dayton Agreement, as well as the position of the Republic of Srpska within the constitutional order.
The interlocutors exchanged opinions on the earlier cooperation between the institutions of the Republic of Srpska and the UN organisation, expressing their belief that through the implementation of various projects, partnership and good cooperation will continue in the future.
The current political and economic situation in the Republic of Srpska and Bosnia and Herzegovina, the process of European integration and other current topics were discussed at the meeting.
