Meeting with the Mayor of Belgrade

The President of the Republic of Srpska Milorad Dodik met today in Banja Luka with the Mayor of Belgrade Aleksandar Šapić.

The President of Srpska stated that the Republic of Srpska is proud of the strength shown by Belgrade as a city and Serbia as a country, and emphasized that the brotherly relations between Banja Luka and Belgrade should be continued.

The President Dodik said that Banjaluka, like Belgrade, is expanding and progressing in every respect and that both cities are desirable destinations to live in.

“The coordination between the City of Belgrade and the Republic of Serbia authorities is obviously the best combination for one city to progress”, said the President of the Republic.

The President of Srpska stated that he discussed cooperation with the Mayor of Belgrade, which has been very developed in recent years.

“We perceive Belgrade as our city, we look forward to progress under the leadership of Mayor Šapić, who is a great friend of Banja Luka and the Republic of Srpska”, said the President Dodik.

The meeting was also attended by the President of the Belgrade City Assembly Nikola Nikodijević.
