Meeting with the Ambassador of the Republic of France to Bosnia and Herzegovina

The President of the Republic of Srpska Milorad Dodik met today in Banja Luka with the Ambassador of the Republic of France to Bosnia and Herzegovina Christine Toudic.

On this occasion, they discussed the current political and economic situation in the Republic of Srpska and Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as the process of European integration with full respect for the Constitution and the Dayton Agreement.

During the meeting, the President Dodik emphasized that the establishment of legitimate and functional government at all levels in BiH is of great importance for the European path, and emphasized the importance of internal dialogue of all political actors in BiH on major issues and projects of importance to all its citizens.

The President of the Republic pointed out that numerous foreign investments depend on political stability, and reminded that Srpska has shown its full democratic capacity and ability to form a government and adopt strategic documents in a short time after the elections, which is a prerequisite for a systemic solution to economic and social problems.

The interlocutors assessed that there are many areas in which the Republic of Srpska and France can cooperate, expressing the belief that, in the coming period, relations will further deepen and develop, with the aim of contributing to economic growth and development, increasing the number of investments, jobs and a better standard.
