The President of the Republic of Srpska Milorad Dodik met today in the Palace of the Republic with the Ambassador of the Republic of Belarus to BiH Vladimir Ulakhovich seated in Budapest.
The President Dodik informed the Ambassador of Belarus about the political situation in Srpska, as well as about various mechanisms of pressure on the Republic of Srpska and attempts to delegitimize it.
The President of the Republic emphasized that the Republic of Srpska is institutionally stable and that it respects the Constitution and the Dayton Peace Agreement, and emphasized the commitment of the institutions of the Republic of Srpska to preserve peace and stability.
The Ambassador Ulakhovich conveyed to the President Dodik the invitation of the President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko to make an official visit to Belarus.
The President Dodik expressed his belief that the relations between the Republic of Srpska and Belarus, based on firm friendship and mutual trust, will be further improved.
The meeting was also attended by the honorary consul of Belarus to Bosnia and Herzegovina Nedeljko Elek.
