The President of the Republic of Srpska Milorad Dodik met today in Banja Luka with the Ambassador of Hungary to Bosnia and Herzegovina Krisztián Pósa.
The President Dodik informed the Ambassador of Hungary about the current political and economic situation in the Republic of Srpska and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The President of the Republic emphasized the importance of cooperation between Hungary and Srpska in the field of energy, as a dominant issue at the global level, and recalled the importance of implementing the idea he discussed with the Prime Minister of Hungary Viktor Orbán, according to which Hungary, Serbia and the Republic of Srpska would create a solidary energy community.
The President Dodik used the opportunity to once again thank Hungary for its direct support to farmers in Srpska through the first Hungarian Government Support Programme for the Republic of Srpska economy.
The interlocutors expressed their belief that good cooperation will be continued in the future through the implementation of the present projects and definition of new ones of mutual interest.
