Meeting with agricultural producers of Semberija

The President of the Republic of Srpska Milorad Dodik met with the agricultural producers of Semberija in Bijeljina today.

The President of the Republic of Srpska announced another two million BAM investment by the Government of Srpska in the rural development of Semberija and the continuation of systemic measures with an agricultural budget of 180 million BAM to ensure domestic food production.

“We promised and fulfilled the investment of three million BAM from the Compensation Fund for rural development projects in Bijeljina that were implemented through the Agrarian Fund. We heard a lot of gratitude for that, especially because everything was implemented after and not before the elections”, said the President of the Republic.

According to the President Dodik, the Republic of Srpska has sufficient production of all basic food products and regular market supply.

The President of Srpska said that they are working on the finalization of the Rulebook on the distribution of incentives in agriculture, in order to provide systemic solutions in this area.

“We want to help and support agricultural producers”, said the President Dodik and called on all the citizens who have the opportunity to produce part of the food on their farms, stressing that food, along with energy, is a fundamental issue in the future in the entire world.
