The President of the Republic of Srpska Milorad Dodik attended today in Sombor the marking of the Day of Remembrance for those killed in NATO aggression in 1999.
The President of the Republic of Srpska stated that those who committed this crime must understand that the Serb people are made up of the living and the dead, as well as those who will be born, and that it is therefore the responsibility towards those who will come to never forget this aggression.
The President Dodik said that the goal of tonight’s gathering is to remember, as well as to never forget what was done by the evildoers who ordered the bombing and killing of innocent people.
“We gather here thanks to the President of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić who decided to call aggression by its right name, not a “Merciful Angel”. We are a nation whose victims have been called collateral damage. We are not a collateral damage. As far as I am concerned, we will never forgive or forget them. We cannot forgive them because they were heartless, because they went to the end to humiliate us”, said the President of the Republic.
The President of the Republic of Srpska said that FR Yugoslavia was chosen as a training ground because of only one organisation, namely NATO, and pointed out that those responsible for this crime were never held accountable.
The President of Srpska emphasized that after the NATO aggression, they offered loans for the reconstruction of everything that was destroyed, but that the Serb people could not rebuild the children and the innocent victims.
“I will never trust them. I will never bow down to them, nor think that they are good, they only bring us evil and there is nothing that is good”, said the President Dodik at the commemoration called “We will forgive if we can, forget only if we vanish away”.
The President of the Republic of Srpska said that when the first bomb fell in Serbia, in Sombor, it exploded in the hearts of all Serbs wherever they were and that it cannot be forgotten, and to certain Western ambassadors who declare that Serbs should overcome it, he said that it will not happen.
“We know that you have no conscience, but I am convinced that at some point in your life, you will be haunted by the fact that you killed Milica Rakić and the innocent children, that those whose lives you took away, and who should have lived, will come to face you”, said the President Dodik.
