First Session of the Committee for the celebration of the Day of the Republic of Srpska held

The President of the Republic of Srpska Željka Cvijanović chaired today the First Session of the Committee for the celebration of the Day of the Republic of Srpska 2021.

During the session held in the Palace of the Republic, the Committee for the Celebration of the Day of the Republic of Srpska was elected, the Working Group for the Preparation and Realisation of the Celebration of the Day of the Republic was formed, and the preliminary proposal of the Day of the Republic Celebration Programme was adopted which involves the Solemn Academy and the Parade at the Krajina Square.

The date of the ceremonial parade will be determined later due to the current epidemiological situation.

It was also determined that due to the current epidemiological situation in the Republic of Srpska on the occasion of the Day of the Republic of Srpska 2021, traditional receptions with the President of the Republic of Srpska will not be organised, as well as the events that involve gathering more people indoors.

In all cities and municipalities of the Republic of Srpska, as well as in the Brčko District, the Day of the Republic of Srpska will be marked in an appropriate manner, in accordance with the capabilities and the recommendations of the Institute of Public Health of the Republic of Srpska.

The First Session of the Organising Committee for the celebration of the Day of the Republic of Srpska in 2021 was attended by the President of the National Assembly of the Republic of Srpska Nedeljko Čubrilović, as well as the Prime Minister of the Republic of Srpska Radovan Višković.
