Donor evening “To Brave Hearts with Love” held under the auspices of the President of the Republic of Srpska
The donor evening “To Brave Hearts with Love” was held tonight in Banja Luka under the auspices of the President of the Republic of Srpska Željka Cvijanović.
The President of the Republic of Srpska stated that she was pleased that this time again, within the campaign “To Brave Hearts with Love” as in the previous nine years, they succeeded to activate an entire society that has shown solidarity.
“I am pleased since we have gathered again to make a good thing. There are institutions, businessmen, donors, cultural workers, public workers and others who know we need to work together to make good things. Tonight, together, we support the construction of day care centres for children with disabilities in Banja Luka and Trebinje”, said the President Cvijanović.
The President of the Republic thanked everyone who made a huge contribution this and the previous years, particularly to the Serb Presidency Member Milorad Dodik, who recognised the need for institutions and citizens to mobilise together at the time when he was the President of Srpska.
“It is not just about the money, the institutions always provide it, but to show that we are ready, able and willing to work together and help people in our community who need help. This year, as well as before, at the request of the association and in cooperation with the non-governmental sector and families, we have decided to help those who have asked for it and who need our help”, it was emphasized by the President of the Republic of Srpska.
According to the President of the Republic, she is particularly content because they have been able to mobilise in another way for talented children from all over Srpska to participate in the programme.
“Since last year, we have introduced the practice of making this an opportunity to showcase our young talents from all over the Republic of Srpska, our beautiful children who want to help other children with song, dance, play and recitation. I am proud because tonight we have 160 children who came from all over Srpska to support their peers and to show together with institutions and citizens that we are a society of solidarity and that we can teach them from a young age that we should all help others”, said the President Cvijanović.
The President of the Republic added that she was also proud of the fact that for the first time, children from Serbia and Poland also participated in the campaign, therefore helping other children.
“Even now, I can say that this evening has been successful”, said the President Cvijanović.
The President thanked the Ministers from the Government of Serbia, stating that Serbia, together with the institutions of Srpska, has traditionally been the greatest donor.
The President Cvijanović has offered special recognitions to the citizens who called humanitarian number 1411 and made a huge contribution to the campaign “To Brave Hearts with Love”.
