Delivery of apartment keys to 23 families of displaced persons and returnees from the area of the municipality of Istočno Novo Sarajevo

The President of the Republic of Srpska Milorad Dodik said that with today’s delivery of keys in Istočno Novi Sarajevo, people who had been waiting for a roof over their heads for years finally solved the issue of housing.

The President Dodik noted that today 23 keys for apartments were delivered, and a few days ago 15 keys were distributed in the building in the neighborhood, explaining that part of this programme foresees another 196 apartments throughout the Republic of Srpska.

“Those who are tired of waiting cannot even rejoice, but we see satisfaction in the fact that they have finally solved the housing issue”, said the President Milorad Dodik.

The President of the Republic of Srpska stated that next year a new program of 600 apartments will be initiated, stating that people will appear later and that the programme must be expanded.

The President Dodik wished everyone luck and thanked those who participated in the construction, stating that nothing is easy to do today, but that the Republic of Srpska is showing that it can do it even with a possible slight delay.
