Congratulations to the FBiH President Lidija Bradara

The President of the Republic of Srpska Milorad Dodik extended congratulations to Lidija Bradara on the occasion of her election as the President of FBi

“On behalf of the people and institutions of the Republic of Srpska, in the capacity of the President of the Republic of Srpska, please allow me to congratulate you on your election as the President of the FBiH.”

Your election was expected, given the support you enjoy not only from the political parties in power and opposition, but also from the people. Your election confirmed the electoral will of the voters in FBiH, which is the ultimate goal and purpose of all democratic processes.

I am encouraged by your statement that you will advocate for dialogue and agreement on all issues that burden relations in Bosnia and Herzegovina. I believe that with joint efforts, with mutual respect for legitimately elected representatives, we will start a culture of dialogue, and thus the stalled processes in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Respect for the Constitution of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the constitutions of both entities, and the essential respect for the letter of the Dayton Peace Agreement are key levers in the improvement and further relaxation of relations at all levels of government.

I am still of the opinion that direct dialogue and a compromise agreement – and not accusations made through the media or by making inconsistent, one-sided accusatory statements – are the only right way to resolve all dilemmas and existing disagreements.

I wish you good health and the fulfillment of all the goals set during your mandate as the President of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina”, reads the congratulation letter of the President of the Republic of Srpska.
