Congratulations extended on the occasion of Easter

On the occasion of the greatest Christian holiday of Easter, the President of the Republic of Srpska Milorad Dodik extended congratulations to His Holiness the Serbian Patriarch Porfirije, metropolitans, bishops, clergy, monks and all Orthodox believers.

“On the occasion of the upcoming and joyous Easter holiday, I extend my sincere congratulations and I wish you to welcome and spend this holiday in the spirit of the centuries-old tradition of our people.

The Christ Resurrection changed the history of the human race. Man gained hope through the Resurrected Christ and became an accomplice in the victory of good over evil. We especially understand this in this suffering area, in the Republic of Srpska, Serbia and wherever our proud people live.

The resurrection reminds us of the fundamental values and truths of our people, that the creators are always stronger than destroyers, it establishes us in faith and love, in justice and truth, in family values, in every good and honorable deed.

Gathered around the Church and our Republic of Srpska, created during the suffering in Donja Gradina, Jasenovac, Prebilovci, Ržani Dol, Stari Brod, Kazani, Podrinje, Petrovačka cesta and other places, the Serb people always had the strength to make daily efforts for general progress and survival in this region.

With the wish that you will spend these festive days gathered around your families and around the table with prayer and a toast, and for our Republic of Srpska, which is the main and only guarantor of our survival, I salute you with a joyful greeting:
