Ceremonial reception held on the occasion of the inauguration of the President of the Republic of Srpska
In the Administrative Centre of the Government of the Republic of Srpska, a formal reception was held tonight on the occasion of the inauguration of the President of the Republic of Srpska Milorad Dodik.
The President of the Republic of Srpska stated that the responsibility he received in this mandate is greater than before, that he understood the message of the people to whom he owes a great deal in fulfilling their expectations, which are to preserve peace and stability and preserve the Republic of Srpska.
“I will continue to do that. Srpska has enough capacity to express itself, the Dayton Agreement has clearly positioned it”, it was pointed out by the President Dodik.
The President of the Republic indicated that it is important to return the powers that were taken away, and that he will try to do so through political means.
“Politics contributed to the fact that I was elected President of Srpska for the third time in a very challenging time”, said the President of Srpska and added that there is never a dull moment in these areas.
The President Dodik indicated that Srpska wants the Constitution of Bosnia and Herzegovina as written, and that it will decide whether to enter into reforms.
The President of the Republic stated that Srpska wants cooperation with the EU, it made a sovereign decision that it will not be a member of NATO, but wants to cooperate, noting that it also wants cooperation with Russia, China, and the USA.
The President of Srpska added that it is likely that government institutions will be formed quickly at the BiH level, and that they will work if there are talks without outside interference.
“Peace between us must be a priority. Srpska is not asking for anything, but for our constitutional position to be respected,” said the President Dodik and added that they are not satisfied with the judicial system.
The President of the Republic of Srpska mentioned that he does not want to stop any project in FBiH, but that as the President of Srpska, he will not allow someone to stop projects worth three billion because it is his whim.
The President of the Republic also stated that the support he receives from the Russian ambassador is important, and that the Republic of Srpska wants to remain a partner with everyone.
The President of Srpska emphasized that no one in him will have collaborators for obstructions.
“We are for BiH as written in the Constitution. It may seem that we are small, but we have great character and perseverance, we are only looking for our constitutional position”, it was pointed out by the President Dodik and added that we must discuss the abuses of the OBA, because it is not the intelligence service that Srpska wants.
The President of the Republic added that Srpska is not being tested on matters of jurisdiction, stressing that Srpska wants peace and stability with everyone.
“Srpska is big enough to accept everything, it is there to show what the Serb people present, which makes the width for everyone. Being the President of the Republic of Srpska is a great honor, I shall work dedicatedly with Serbia, Montenegro, Croatia, the Federation and the EU. We have not given up on the European path”, said the President Dodik.
The President of Srpska thanked the dignitaries who arrived at the reception and wished them to preserve peace and stability with the words “be humans”.
