The President of the Republic of Srpska Milorad Dodik attended the ceremonial academy in Banja Luka this evening on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of “Glas Srpske”.
The President Dodik said that “Glas Srpske” had a reason to gather them all in Banski dvor where it is celebrating 80 years of existence and work, stating that all that time it was a struggle for the newspaper to survive.
“It was the voice of this people and the forerunner of what is today called the Republic of Srpska”, said the President of Srpska.
The President of the Republic emphasized that he was glad that he belonged to the generation of people who did not allow “Glas” to disappear, but agreed on privatisation, and to see that it succeeded.
The President of Srpska also said that he had a positive experience with “Glas Srpske”, which marked the past time, and thanked the current generation of owners, editors and journalists who did not give up.
The President Dodik pointed out that the staff who work in this daily newspaper present the truth and spread the optimism that should be present.
“I wish a bright future for the “Glas Srpske”. I wish you success, good health and great happiness”, said the President of the Republic of Srpska on this occasion.
