At the invitation of the President of the Republic of Srpska Željka Cvijanović, a meeting was held today in Teslić, attended by the Speaker of the National Assembly Nedeljko Čubrilović, the Serb Member of the Presidency of BiH Milorad Dodik and the Chairman of the Council of Ministers Zoran Tegeltija.
The President Cvijanović stated that a meeting was held between the highest officials of the Republic of Srpska and representatives of Srpska in the highest positions at the level of BiH, considering that, unfortunately, they receive disturbing information and messages related to a beautiful event such as the enthronement of the Metropolitan Joanikije of Montenegro and the Littoral.
“We are faced with various bad messages that we receive from a place that should be solemn and festive, and which are worrying. The essence of today’s meeting is our message to all citizens that we should promote peace and that the Republic of Srpska stands firmly in peace. This also implies that every religious community and its high level events and goals should be respected”, said the President of the Republic.
The President of Srpska pointed out that the main commitment of the Republic of Srpska is peace and that its officials hope the enthronement of Metropolitan Joanikije of Montenegro and the Littoral in Montenegro to proceed peacefully in accordance with established church rules, and that this solemn act shall be a holiday for all believing people.
The President Cvijanović emphasized that all people should show respect for that sacred event that should take place in a festive atmosphere.
