Address by the President of the Republic of Srpska

The President of the Republic of Srpska Milorad Dodik addressed the media today at Kozara regarding the illegal decisions of Christian Schmidt.

The President of the Republic of Srpska said that Srpska rejects Christian Schmidt as the high representative not because of spite, but because he was not confirmed by the UN Security Council as stipulated in the Dayton Agreement and that Srpska is considering the possibility of suing him in Germany for false representation.

“Schmidt does not have the legitimacy to be a high representative. He was a fraud to the Serb people who should cause the Serb people both in Srpska and in Serbia to lose their identity and their country”, said the President Dodik.

The President of the Republic stated that by the new year, Srpska could organise a referendum on its status and how to proceed.

“We will fight in our own, political way, until the law on the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina is passed, which would restore authority to that institution”, said the President Dodik.

According to the President of Srpska, Christian Schmidt‘s decisions yesterday lead to him being treated and prosecuted after signing the laws passed by the National Assembly.

The President Dodik announced that decisions will soon be made in Srpska banning the activities of Sipa, the Court and the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH in the territory of Srpska because they have no constitutional basis, that protectorate and colonialism will not be tolerated, stressing that the Constitutional Court of BiH has changed the political system and that it is obvious behavior that leads to majorisation, the same as for the Serbs in Kosovo and Metohija.

“We have no one to complain to. The Constitutional Court is an inquisitional court and a court of the international community, not BiH. The generators of the problem are in Sarajevo, America, Great Britain and the weak EU. To them, the Republic of Srpska is only good when it is weak”, said the President Dodik.

The President of the Republic of Srpska emphasized that what Christian Schmidt did yesterday was nothing but a part of a planned plan to discipline the Republic of Srpska, to make its president a monster, an unreasonable person, a man who cannot be talked to.

“It cannot be sovereignty if you are a protectorate and if you are a colony. A colony is defined as a country ruled by foreigners. Do we need more proof that we are a colony than yesterday and what is happening to us in the Constitutional Court?” asked the President Dodik.

The President of Srpska also asked how it is possible that some politicians from Sarajevo accept that Schmidt is someone who has rights only out of hatred for the Republic of Srpska and the Serb people.

“Due to these decisions, the Republic of Srpska will continue to act constitutionally in its own way, and I, as the President, will sign the decrees on the laws passed by the National Assembly regarding the non-publication of the decisions of the High Representative, as well as the decisions on the Constitutional Court, until the law on the Constitutional Court is passed”, said the President of the Republic of Srpska.

The President of the Republic indicated that the Republic of Srpska did not say that there is no Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, but that it “wants to end this well-known scandal by restoring the authority of the Constitutional Court by passing a law on that court”.

The President Dodik said that Schmidt is a part of a trick on the Serb people that should lead to losing their identity and state, as well as a vile and synchronised attack on Srpska and Serbia with the aim of overthrowing the authorities and personalising the blame in the presidents Milorad Dodik and Aleksandar Vučić, which would weaken the will of the people to fight for the states.

“I do not want to put Vučić in a position where anything we do here is a burden to him”, it was added by the President of the Republic of Srpska.

The President of Srpska reiterated that the Court and Prosecutor’s Office and the tax system and security agencies of BiH were established in addition to the Constitution of BiH, and that now they are going further and attacking another two issues – property and the method and system of decision-making.

“And they are trying to make us, who defend the Dayton Peace Agreement, into the destroyers”, it was added by the President Dodik.
