Today, the Vice President of the
Republic of Srpska Davor Čordaš and Miladin Dragičević, the Advisor
for humanitarian and social issues to the Prime Minister Milorad
Dodik, visited Banja Luka`s Bishop Franjo Komarica. Today`s meeting

social issues to the Prime Minister Milorad Dodik, promised full
engagement in solving received applications through the Ministry
of refugees and displaced persons of the Republic of Srpska and
the State`s Fund for return as well, through which there was no
help when reconstruction and solving the applications from Croats
from the Republic of Srpska are considered. Once more, irregular
methodology was emphasized, when selection of overall users is concerned.
Davor Čordaš and Miladin Dragičević also emphasized their worries
towards the method that has been used even today, and they therefore
expressed readiness to use their authorities through the Return
Commission in order to change the current procedure.
They also discussed a great number of unsolved applications
for property return of Croats who are still present in Banja Luka`s
courts, they have not reached the results and they wait for five,
six and more years.
Miladin Dragičević once again expressed readiness
of the Government of the Republic of Srpska to participate in celebrating
fifth anniversary of the coming of Pope John Paul II to Banja Luka.
Čordaš and Dragičević expressed hope that institutions
from the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina as well as Bosnia

THE SPEECH OF
THE VICE-PRESIDENT ČORDAŠ ON THE OCCASSION OF THE CHRISTMAS RECEPTION
Your Excellency
Ladies and Gentlemen
Dear friends
Let me welcome you to this reception this evening
in Banski dvor in Banja Luka on the occasion of the Christmas festival.
This room is filled with the brightness and good wishes for the
forthcoming Christmas that we Catholics believe in. We would like
to share all the Christmas happiness with all of you. Christmas
is a time of happiness and time when we desire harmony and serenity
to everyone and if we want to achieve this we need to be more considerate
and open - minded. Let us all open our souls to the God’s will who
uses his son to come into our lives.
For Bosnia and Herzegovina this has been a year of
political and economical uncertainty. Perhaps we had more ambitious
plans for our country, but unfortunately we did not act efficiently
enough and that’s why our achievements are not as good as we expected.
At this time of the year we think of the birth of
Jesus and I would like to use this occasion to wish you a VERY MERRY
CHRISTMAS. Take all your Christmas wishes to your family, home and
workplace. Let Christmas happiness enrich your efforts for all people’s
sake.
On these days Jewish people, the followers of Moses
law celebrate their holiday Hanukkah and I would like to take this
occasion to express my best wishes to all of them.
Today as well, by coincidence or not, Bosniaks Muslims
celebrate their holiday Bajram and I would also like to use this
opportunity to express my best wishes with words Bajram Šerif Mubarek
Olsun!
To all Orthodox believers who are preparing themselves
by fastening and good behavior for the celebration of Christmas
by Julian calendar I wish all the best with old traditional words
Mir Božiji Hristos se rodi, Vaistinu se rodi- PEACE FROM GOD-CHRIST
IS BORN, INDEED HE IS BORN!
I WISH ALL OF YOU A HAPPY AND BLESSED CHRISTMAS, SUCCESS
AT WORK, HAPPINES IN SOULS AND HEARTS AND BLESSING FROM GOD. ALSO,
I WISH A HAPPY AND SUCCESSFUL NEW YEAR TO EVERYONE.
