Vice President of the Republic of Srpska
Mr. Ramiz Salkić was born in 1973 in Hranca, Municipality of Bratunac. He is a Master in Natural Sciences in the field of biology. He finished primary and secondary school in Bratunac, and the Faculty of Philosophy, Department of Biology of Chemistry at the University of Tuzla, where he obtained his title as a professor of biology-chemistry. He completed his postgraduate studies at the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics, University of Tuzla, and obtained the title of Master of Natural Sciences in the field of biology. As a professor he worked in the Podrinje Elementary School in Tuzla, and the Secondary School of Economics Tuzla and JU Behram-bey Treska. He has published several scientific papers individually and with his associates. He was the President of the Main Board of the Association of Youth SDA of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and the President of the Regional Board of SDA Srednje Podrinje-Zvornik.
He is a member of the Presidency and the Main Board of the SDA of Bosnia and Herzegovina. He was elected as a delegate to the Council of Peoples of the Republic of Srpska in 2003 and remained on that position until 2006, serving as President of the Bosniak Club in the Council of Peoples of the Republika Srpska. He was a member of the National Assembly of the Republic of Srpska since 2007 as President of the SDA-SDP Club. After the election in 2010, he was re-elected as a deputy, and then for the vice-president of the National Assembly of the Republika Srpska. He is married, the father of two children.
