The President of the Republic of Srpska Željka Cvijanović is visiting Phoenix in the State of Arizona at the invitation of the Serbian Orthodox Church and the Serbian Diaspora Association in that federal state.
During the visit, the President of the Republic of Srpska attended a local dinner with representatives of our diaspora in Phoenix, where 20,000 of Serbs live.
On this occasion, the President Cvijanović stressed that every person in the diaspora is important for the Republic of Srpska, and that this visit shows that there is no such distance that can prevent us from gathering and being together.
The President of the Republic of Srpska previously met with businessmen of our origin, who have been successfully working within the business community in Phoenix.
Tomorrow, together with the Serbian Orthodox Church believers in Phoenix, the President Cvijanović will attend the celebration of the Church’s paitron saint in the Church of St. Nikola in this city.
