The President of the Republic of Srpska Željka Cvijanović received today in her office the Ambassador of Montenegro to BiH Milan Lakić in a farewell visit.

During the meeting, the interlocutors exchanged views on the current political and economic situation in the Republic of Srpska, Bosnia and Herzegovina and the region, as well as on joint infrastructure projects that would be significant for Srpska and Montenegro.

The President Cvijanović and the Ambassador Lakić expressed satisfaction with the cooperation they had so far, expressing the hope that the relations between the Republic of Srpska and Montenegro will be further improved in the upcoming period.

The interlocutors pointed out that the geographical position of Srpska and Montenegro is a great development opportunity, especially between border municipalities and that there is still room for improvement of cooperation in the field of tourism and culture.

The President Cvijanović thanked the Ambassador Lakić for good cooperation during the mandate period and wished him success in his further work.
