The President of the Republic of Srpska Željka Cvijanović held a meeting on the implementation of the Decree-Law on Amendments to the Law on Protection of the Population from Infectious Diseases today in the Palace of the Republic, attended by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Srpska Radovan Višković, Minister of the Interior Dragan Lukač, Mayor of Banja Luka Igor Radojičić and acting Director of the Republic of Srpska Inspectorate Dragutin Škrebić.

Concerns were raised about the increase in the number of positive people to the Coronavirus in Srpska, and the need stressed to strengthen controls in the implementation of measures, which include a prohibition on gatherings, as well as the mandatory wearing of protective equipment.

The need to more carefully control the persons holding movement permits issued by the employers was emphasized at the meeting, noting that the permit is valid only from the place of residence to the workplace and that it cannot be used on another routes or after the working hours.

During the meeting, the possibility of reorganisation of employees within the Republic Administration for Inspection Activities was discussed in order to enable more effective border controls as well as controls within the Republic of Srpska.
