President of the Republic of Srpska meets with the leadership of the Ugljevik municipality
The President of the Republic of Srpska Željka Cvijanović met today in Ugljevik with the leadership of the Ugljevik municipality.
The President of the Republic of Srpska stated that for the well-being of citizens, there must be a strong link between the republican and municipal authorities that provides further development of this and every municipality in the Republic of Srpska.
“The development of each of our municipalities means the development of the Republic, and that is our commitment”, said the President Cvijanović.
According to the President of the Republic, different needs of this local community and projects that were implemented or will be implemented for the benefit of the citizens were discussed at the meeting.
“There are many infrastructure projects that we can implement together, and I am pleased with the fact that the Government of the Republic of Srpska invested 35 million BAM in various projects in Ugljevik during the past years”, said the President of the Republic.
The President of the Republic of Srpska said that last year half a million BAM was invested in the reconstruction of local roads, schools, infrastructure and family medicine facilities.
“All these are projects from which our citizens need to see the profits and benefits, and that is the role of the republic and municipal authorities, to work in a way that meets the needs of citizens”, said the President Cvijanović.
According to the President of Srpska, at the meeting they also referred to the public company Rudnik and Ugljevik Thermal Power Plant which employs 2,000 workers and it is the carrier of economic life in the municipality and region.
