President of the Republic of Srpska visits the Municipality of Ribnik 

The President of the Republic of Srpska Željka Cvijanović met today in Ribnik with the leadership of this municipality and visited the central Elementary School “Desanka Maksimović” where the reconstruction started.

The President of the Republic stated that it is very important to continue the development of the Ribnik municipality, stressing that in the last ten years the Government of Srpska has allocated more than 25 million BAM for these needs.

The President of the Republic of Srpska told reporters that these funds were allocated as a sign of support for the construction of local road and communal infrastructure.

“We also resolved the problems of education and health. We shall continue with this, and I shall support this kind of project for the construction of a kindergarten financially because there is a need for that”, said the President Cvijanović.

The President of the Republic of Srpska pointed out that, on the example of Ribnik, the authorities of Srpska showed that there is a strong link between the Government and local communities.

The President of the Republic said that in this municipality much will be done on what would be the basis for economic growth, that is tourism and it will require good and adequate programmes.

“The goal is to make safe jobs from this and popularize this municipality which is beautiful and has the resources we want to put into the function of additional employment. In that direction, the municipality will have the support of the republican level of government. I believe in the development of this region and the goal is to create conditions for a better life of all citizens of the municipality”, said the President Cvijanović.
